Where to Elope in Washington
Best Elopement Locations + Guides
Our Main Zones
Washington is home to three major national parks, each surrounded by national forests and wilderness. In the next section we’ll get into our favorite spots, but first we’ll share about the three main zones:
North Cascades + Mt. Baker
The North Cascades are remote, rugged, and wild, with jagged peaks, turquoise alpine lakes, and lush forests. You’ll find everything from scenic overlooks to full-day alpine treks. For couples who want dramatic elevation and world-class views, the North Cascades are truly unrivaled.
Olympic National Park
Olympic is one of the most diverse places to elope in the country. Within a few hours, see rugged coastline, moss-covered rainforest, roaring waterfalls, alpine ridgelines, and glacier-fed lakes, much of which is highly accessible and open year-round. There’s truly something here for everyone.
Mount Rainier National Park
Tahoma (aka Mt. Rainier) is iconic for a reason. Wildflower meadows, alpine lakes, old growth forests, roaring warerfalls, and panoramic views of Washington’s tallest peak make for an iconic mountain elopement backdrop, with options for just-us adventures or small groups.
