Wilderpines is a queer-owned team of Washington adventure elopement photographers and planners offering photography + planning elopement packages across Washington state.

Here at Wilderpines we’re more than just photographers—we’re your guides, planners, officiants, and adventure crew, here to help you plan the elopement of your dreams from start to finish.
Our all-inclusive elopement packages include planning & logistics support, photography, officiating, and access to our Trading Post of gear and supplies to borrow. We also offer custom-designed elopement postcards and nostalgic Super 8 wedding films.

Wilderpines is a trans-owned, LGBTQ+ adventure elopement team based in Seattle, Washington. We help introverted, nature-loving couples elope with intention across some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the state—Mount Rainier, North Cascades, Olympic National Park, and more.
What we do goes far beyond photography. We’re here to inspire, guide, and ground you as you create a wedding day that is truly yours—intentional, unforgettable, and wild in all the right ways—then capture it all so you can relive those moments forever.
We’re passionate about adventure elopements and wholeheartedly believe we have the best job in the world: helping couples like you plan the adventure of a lifetime!

They seriously thought of EVERYTHING. Kenzie's dad happens to be 20 years sober (which was mentioned ONCE), and somehow, a mini bottle of non alcoholic champagne ended up at our table during our beach dinner. Dad also got really cold, and Ashton had a electric hand warmer.
When we received our gallery of photos and wedding film, we were absolutely blown away! The shots, the color, the candid moments... everything we dreamed of. And the film, wow. You have us sobbing every time we watch it! We cannot recommend Wilderpines enough!”

“From start to finish, Ashton went way above and beyond helping us plan—from restaurants and things to do in Seattle, and to all of the places we had planned to drive around and see in Washington state. Hiking up a mountain with a 40-pound backpack just to get the perfect shots.
He really went the extra mile to make sure our wedding was everything we had ever dreamed of. Helping us be so present in the moment, to stop and take in all the natural beauty around us. We laughed (a lot), we cried (happy tears), and we sang silly songs all the way up the mountain.
The photos turned out absolutely stunning!! Easily the most beautiful images we’ve ever seen. He captured every tiny detail and emotion so naturally, and somehow made the whole day feel effortless and fun. Time honestly flew by.
Overall, Ashton isn’t just an incredible photographer, he’s the kind of person you want around on your wedding day. Kind, calm, wildly talented, and all-around a joy to be with. We’d recommend him to absolutely anyone.”

My husband and I didn’t have many concrete ideas for our elopement— all we knew was that we wanted to be in Olympic National Park. From the guides Ashton provided to all the follow-up chats leading up to our wedding day, Ashton took our small ideas and helped us plan the perfect day.
On the day itself, Ashton went above and beyond. Not only did he capture every special moment, but he also provided much-needed hot coffee at 6 a.m., bandaids for when a choice to jump off a rock was made, committing to get into Lake Crescent when we decided to jump in, and to so many many memorable moments he made with us during our day. We seriously walked away feeling like we have a new friend in our life, which was the icing on top of the cake for our perfect day. Thank you so much!”

“Our elopement experience was surreal, magical and the exact mood we were going for. Ashton took the most gorgeous photos that we will treasure forever, but he did so much more than that. Right from the start he was a helpful planner, our “elopement BFF”.
We had some airport troubles that threw a wrench in our original plan, but he was there with backup plans A, B and C. He was our officiant, offering sweet words and brought our vision to life.

“From day one, Ashton was phenomenal! He spent time getting to know us and what we were looking for in our elopement to make the day just right for us. Ashton was able to help guide us not only to a location, but also in the days schedule, tips for things to bring along, and many other helpful items we didn't even think of. I was in awe of all the extras Ashton came prepared with. Whatever was needed, just kept coming out of his bag, just like Mary Poppins!
Ashton's eye for photography is true art and you will not be disappointed. My husband and I are not photogenic or comfortable in front of a camera at all. Ashton gave great directions and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, so much so, at points we forgot he was there. Our biggest request for our elopement day was for our day to be as stress free as possible. Ashton made our dream of a stress free wedding happen!”
