Super 8mm Reels
What is Super 8? Super 8mm is a silent motion-picture film format popular in the late 1960’s and 1970s, marketed primarily toward home videos. Each 50-foot cartridge can make ~90 seconds worth of footage. Even if you don’t know what Super 8 is, you might recognize the look: classic, nostalgic, grainy, a little shaky. We love it because it forces us to be meaningful and intentional—with film, every second counts. We’re not constantly asking for retakes or perfection, either, which lets us focus more on your experience and our main cameras. It’s not meant to be perfect or polished—it’s meant to be reel. (pun intended 😉)
