THREE DATES AVAILABLE · JUNE + JULY 2027

Hi, we’re Ashton & Dale

With 180+ adventure elopements under our belt, we’ve helped couples plan everything from sunrise paddles to floatplane expeditions to multi-day mountaintop treks in the wilderness. No two adventures are ever the same — each experience is entirely tailored around your preferences, abilities, and wishes.

We’ll help handle the logistics and document your adventure — so you can stay present for what matters most: your experience. Getting married somewhere incredible and wild, having the adventure of a lifetime!

THREE DATES AVAILABLE · JUNE + JULY 2027

We're bringing Wilderpines to Alaska for one very small 2027 window — and we're only taking three elopements.

Sunday, June 27 — Half Day Adventure or Midnight Sun Expedition

Tuesday, June 29 — Half Day, Midnight Sun, or Two-Day Expedition
Wednesday, June 30 — Reserved for Two-Day Expedition

Friday, July 2 — Half Day Adventure or Midnight Sun Expedition

We’ve planned our trip so every booked date includes a dedicated weather backup date, because Alaska gets the final say.

We fell in love with Alaska

Dale and I fell hard for Alaska on our honeymoon — not just because of the mountains and glaciers, but because of the feeling it gave us. It felt untouched. Pristine. Days felt bigger, longer — there is so much space and room to breathe, explore, slow down.

The landscape changes constantly. The weather feels alive. Wildlife is everywhere. Everywhere you look it’s the most beautiful scenery you’ve ever seen. It’s a place that makes you feel small, in the best possible way.

It’s an incredible place, and a perfect place to get married if you’re looking for a wilderness elopement.

We're coming back to Alaska in summer 2027, with just three dates available for elopements around Seward. If you've been dreaming about an Alaska adventure of your own, we'd love nothing more than to help you make it happen!

Seward, AK as your elopement basecamp

For our 2027 Alaska elopements, we're calling Seward home. This little harbor town on the Kenai Peninsula is a two-hour drive south of Anchorage, sitting between the mountains and Resurrection Bay, with Kenai Fjords National Park and Chugach National Forest stretching out beyond it. Seward serves as a great basecamp for an incredible range of locations and experiences:

  • Glaciers. Hike to Exit Glacier and Harding Icefield, or take a helicopter into the backcountry for a remote landing in total solitude.

  • Mountains and meadows. Share your vows on an alpine ridge and wander through wildflower meadows. This early summer window is perfectly timed for the lupine blooms.

  • Water. Kayak through quiet coves or lakes, paddle among icebergs, or charter a boat into Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords or the Prince William Sound.

  • Wildlife. Keep an eye out for whales, sea otters, puffins, seals, and sea lions — or mountain goats on the ridges!

  • Pristine wilderness. If what you're really after is getting away from it all, planes or helicopters can take you beyond the roads into pristine, untouched wilderness.

  • Unique, remote accommodations. Stay at the stunning Salted Roots luxury cabins, private yurts at the remote Iceberg Inn, cozy A-frame cabins — or hike into one of the many public-use Chugach cabins for an off-grid adventure.

  • A dream Alaskan honeymoon. Keep the adventure going! From Anchorage, you can trek north to explore Denali, ride the Alaska Railroad, or take a honeymoon cruise to explore more of the stunning Inside Passage.

What your Alaska can look like

There’s no single way to elope in Alaska! Whether you like to hike and climb or want something more relaxing and scenic, whether you want a high adventure or want to keep it low-key, whether you want mountains and ice or sea and forest, this corner of Alaska offers something for everyone.

Here are just a few of the ways we could build your adventure:

Kayaking through icebergs

Paddle into quiet glacial lagoons surrounded by mountains, floating ice, and wildlife. Stop for vows, a picnic, or simply some time together with nowhere else to be. Who’s down for a polar plunge!?

Hiking in the mountains

Immerse yourself in the Alaska wild — follow a trail through forest and wildflowers, climb on to an alpine viewpoint or glacier trek for a stunning ceremony backdrop.

Glacier landings

Leave the roads behind. Land on a remote glacier or alpine ridge for your vows and explore enjoy the experience of standing somewhere almost completely untouched.

Exploring the fjords

Spend an afternoon aboard a private boat, weaving through Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords. Watch for whales, puffins, sea otters, seals, and sea lions while mountains and glaciers rise around you.

Floatplane into the backcountry

Want to truly get away from it all? Fly over the mountains to a remote lake or cove and exchange your vows somewhere truly wild. Maybe you’ll be the first people to ever get married (or stand!) at that exact spot.

Cabin in the mountains

Not every part of your elopement needs to be high adventure. Start the morning slowly at a lakeside cabin. Make coffee, get ready together, or wind down with dinner, a toast, and a hot tub soak after a long day of exploring.

How we plan a day (or two) in Alaska

Sample timelines for Alaska elopements

During this June/July window the sun rises at ~4:30 am and sets at ~11:30 pm, giving you nearly 19 hours of daylight! Here are a few examples of what your Alaskan elopement day could look like, and how you can use your time.

These are examples, not set itineraries/packages. Everything is customizable. All adventure experiences or tours are booked separately by you two.

Two Day Expedition

A true Alaskan expedition — two days, two different sides of the Last Frontier.

Day 1 — Onto the Ice

6:30 AM — A slow morning at the cabin
Get ready together, share a first look by the water, and have a little time to settle into the day before we head out.

8:30 AM — Into the backcountry
Meet your helicopter pilot and head toward the mountains!

9:00 AM–1:30 PM — Glacier lagoon adventure
Paddle through a landscape of icebergs and towering peaks. Find a quiet place for your vows, share lunch, take a polar plunge if you're feeling brave, and spend some time exploring before heading back.

2:00 PM — Back to the cabin
The rest of the afternoon is yours. Nap. Swim. Make coffee. Order lunch. Enjoy being newly married.

Day 2 — Into the Fjords

6:00 PM — Set out on Resurrection Bay
Board a private sailboat through Resurrection Bay for the evening, watching for whales, otters, and other wildlife as you explore Kenai Fjords. Bring guests to celebrate, or go on your own. Stop for portraits, find a quiet cove, or simply sit together and take it all in.

8:30 PM — Dinner on the water
Settle in for a catered dinner aboard the boat and raise a glass in celebration. Save room for cake!

11:00 PM–12:00 AM — Back in Seward
Golden-hour portraits along the harbor, and one last toast before we wrap up.

Midnight Sun Expedition

Take advantage of those long summer days — and beat the crowds while you’re at it.

Part 1 — Hiking Adventure

3:30 AM — First light
Meet at your trailhead, get ready, share a first look, and start hiking as the sky begins to brighten.

4:15 AM — Vows above Exit Glacier
Reach your viewpoint for a private ceremony overlooking the glacier, timed right for sunrise.

5:30 AM — Explore + breakfast picnic
Wander, take portraits, find a quiet place for coffee and pastries. Stop to smell the wildflowers.

7:00 AM — Slow morning on your own
Return to your cabin. Have breakfast. Take a nap. Pop some champagne. You've already gotten married before most people have started their day!

Part 2 — Heli-tour Adventure

5:00 PM — Back to the mountains
Take a helicopter into Alaska’s backcountry. Enjoy the sights along the way!

5:30 PM — Glacier landing
Step onto the ice somewhere remote for more portraits, a champagne toast, or a few quiet moments together with the mountains all around you.

6:30 PM — One more landing
Head higher into the alpine for a second stop — perhaps a ridge, meadow, or remote beach.

8:30 PM — Dinner + celebration
Return to your lakeside cabin for dinner, cake, and a chance to wind down after all the adventure.

10:30 PM — Golden-hour paddle
A short evening kayak or canoe — a nightcap of an adventure to catch the gorgeous golden light.

12:00 AM — Final moments under the midnight sun
Back on shore for one final toast as the last light leaves the sky.

Half Day Adventure

An adventure somewhere wild for your vows.

4:00 AM — Before the world wakes
Meet at your lakeside cabin while the sky is beginning to lighten. Get ready together, share a first look, take a few quiet portraits by the water.

6:30 AM — Take to the sky
Board a floatplane and leave Seward behind, flying over mountains, lakes, glaciers, and wilderness on your way.

7:00 AM — Ceremony in the wild
Land beside a remote alpine lake and exchange your vows along the shore.

8:30 AM — Breakfast in the backcountry
Spread out a breakfast picnic. Make coffee. Take a polar plunge. Wander the woods or sit together and simply take it all in.

10:00 AM — Time to unwind
Return to your cabin — the rest of the day is yours. Take a nap. Go for a swim. Meet friends for dinner. Or start your honeymoon immediately.
